Our number priority is the safety of our site personnel and clients, which means complying with the latest COVID-19 directives.

From 5th October 2021, workers at all Victorian construction sites will not be permitted to enter if they have not received, at minimum, a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination, subject to limited exemptions.

The Victorian Government issued COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Directions (No 4) which requires Operators of Construction Sites across Victoria to ensure workers, subcontractors/drivers and visitors that enter a construction site must provide evidence of their partial/full CoVID-19 vaccination by providing their Medicare vaccination certificate, or digital certificate of vaccination, available through MyGov, or a valid medical exemption, and is to be sighted and accepted by an ESG Site Leading Hand/COVID-19 Marshal on each site.

ESG have been advised that mandatory vaccination requirements do apply to delivery drivers visiting our sites, who have been deemed Construction Workers by the Victorian Government, as they may need to exit their vehicle during an emergency, use on-site facilities, clean drawbars, open/close tailgates and retract tarps.

Please note the above requirements are a directive from the Victorian Government, not ESG.
